Dr. Ulrich “George” Klopfer, an abortion doctor who was also a hoarder, had stored 2,246 remains of fetuses in medically sealed bags in cardboard boxes at his home in Illinois. The fetal remains were discovered by Klopfer’s family members shortly after his death on September 3. Officials say the fetal remains are from 2000-2002. Klopfer operated three abortion clinics in South Bend, Indiana, before his license was suspended in 2015 for medical malpractice.
Even though there is no evidence of abortions performed at Klopfer’s home, many Americans are comparing this gruesome discovery to the display found in Philadelphia abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s home, where aborted babies’ body parts were kept in jars on shelves. Many pro-lifers, and even Klopfer’s past patients who had abortions at his clinics, are pressing for the identification of the remains found inside Klopfer’s home so that the mothers can have proper burials for their aborted children. Please keep the mothers in your prayers as they continue to find hope and healing.
