1/25 – 1ST ANNUAL NATIONAL PRO-LIFE SUMMIT
For the first time ever, there will be a massive one-day pro-life training event the day after March for Life—for pro-life activists of all ages! You’re invited to a full day of training at the National Pro-Life Summit on Saturday, January 25 from 8:00am-7:00pm at the Marriott Marquis in Washington D.C. (901 Massachusetts Avenue NW, Washington D.C. 20001) (note: Located just blocks from the National March for Life hotel). This year’s theme is “History Makers” because that’s exactly what we’re doing right now in the pro-life movement! The National Pro-Life Summit will cover a wide variety of pro-life topics, such as ethics and philosophy, empowering women to choose life outside abortion clinics, and so much more. 1/30 – ON-LINE SUPPORT GROUP FOR ADULT CHILDREN OF DIVORCE/SEPARATION
St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation holds an online support group for adult children of divorced and separated Catholics on the last Thursday of each month for one hour. The next one will take place on Thursday, January 30 from 8:00-9:00 p.m. The support group includes prayer, reflection, and sharing. This monthly session is attended by a Mercedarian friar and the director of St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation. 2/8 – FEBRUARY “NEWBY SATURDAY” FOR SIDEWALK SERVANTS
Want to witness outside an abortion center when you know experienced Sidewalk Servants will also be present? The Pro-Life Union introduces “Newby Saturdays,” held the second Saturday of each month, for newer pro-lifers to learn by example, knowing they won’t be by themselves. “Newby Saturday” will be held on Saturday, February 8 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. outside Planned Parenthood at 12th & Locust Streets. 2/8-2/9 – “WONDERFULLY MADE”: A THEOLOGY OF THE BODY RETREAT FOR HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS
St. Peter’s Respect Life Committee is holding their third retreat for high schools called “Wonderfully Made”: A Theology of the Body Retreat from Saturday, February 8-Sunday, February 9 at St. Mary of Providence Center (227 Isabella Road, Elverson, PA 19520). Arrive at 9:00am on February 8 and depart at 11:30am on February 9. Lunch and dinner will be served on Saturday, and breakfast is served on Sunday. Cost is $75 per person (scholarships available). Learn what it means to be a young, dynamic, Catholic woman in today’s world. The retreat will introduce participants to John Paul II’s Theology of the Body and what it means for your life! More Retreat Details: Led by Samantha Kelley, the Founder and President of FIERCE Athlete. Sam is a young Catholic woman, trained in teaching the Theology of the Body. She holds a Master’s degree in Catholic Psychology, is a former Division 1 soccer player, and now rows competitively. Marie DiCeccowill give a talk called “Women’s Health in Conformity with Theology of the Body.” Marie has been a high school health educator for the past 35 years and has recently completed an Allied Health program in women’s health care. She is passionate about educating young females on the beauty of their femininity. Marie believes that the foundation of the “feminine genius” – as described by Pope St. John Paul II – lies in her capacity to know that she is endowed with specific feminine gifts that encourage her to become the woman she is called by God to be. The Sisters of Life will be attending, speaking and leading small groups.

3/15 – PHILADELPHIA ST. PATRICK’S DAY
The 250th Annual Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be held on Sunday, March 15. The theme of this year’s parade is “250 Years of Faith, Family, Friendship and Heritage.” Join the Pro-Life Union as we continue our tradition to march in the city’s parade!
